The Christian life is not for the faint of heart. As we witness with John the Baptist and Jesus, when you live according to the kingdom of God will normally cause those who benefit from the status quo to be uncomfortable. Not everyone lives a life of daily repentance and belief. However, God never gives us on the world and the divine desire to make all things new.
